$SILQ
Token and economics
$SILQ ties the network together: it pays for inference once it launches, it is what backers stake and earn, and it is how the network's privacy parameters are eventually governed.
Three roles
Credit payments
Inference is billed in credits: 1 credit per assistant message or API request, 5 free and then credit packs, paid in USDC today and in $SILQ once it launches. There is no prompt history and no profile behind the bill. Metered, not monitored.
Staking asset
Stake $SILQ for 6 months or 1 year in the Streamflow staking program and earn $SILQ from a pre-funded reward pool. Only your wallet can unstake it, once the lock ends.
Governance
Over time, stakers govern the parameters that matter most - above all the privacy thresholds the receipts are checked against.
Treasury fuel
A share of every settlement funds the treasury that underwrites the privacy research proving the network's core claim.
How revenue flows
Worker pay runs on real yield, not emissions. The money that moves through the system originates from actual paid inference - the credit packs users buy in USDC for the assistant and the API - plus a share of $SILQ trading fees. Staking rewards are separate: $SILQ from a pre-funded reward pool, not a share of this revenue.
The settlement split
Each paid job is split as follows, and the treasury share is then put to work:
- USDC to GPU workers - at least 0.01 USDC per paid job (half on a browser worker) plus a share for longer answers; withdrawals are reviewed and sent manually.
- The margin to the treasury - funds privacy research and the buyback engine.
- Nothing to the staking pool - staking rewards come from the pre-funded reward pool, not from job revenue.
Treasury policy
Policy versus on-chain
Chain and launch
$SILQ is an SPL token on Solana. It has not launched yet: staking opens at the launch, once the site is pointed at the $SILQ mint and its Streamflow stake pool.
